Sacred Foods 100% Organic (sulfite free) Stone-Ground Coconut Butter is slowly stone ground for many days and is absolutely luscious and silky. The temperature of the grinding process remains below 100 degrees Fahrenheit from start to finish. Our coconut butter is certified 100% organic by CCOF. We package our raw, organic, gourmet nut butters in glass, so that plastic never touches your food.
This smooth, creamy, blissfully delicious food/spread can be used and enjoyed in a variety of ways, including straight out of the jar on a spoon, like candy or fudge (it's that scrumptious!).
Sacred Foods Coconut Butter is made from chunks of dried coconut, stone ground over many days at temperatures that are strictly maintained below 100 degrees Farenheit. This tight temperature control keeps keeps the product raw, the nutrient content high and helps protect the rich, whole coconut fatty acids from oxidation.

The distribution of MACRONUTRIENTS in Stone Ground Coconut Butter is approximately 65% fats, 24% carbohydrates,16% fiber and 7% amino acid proteins. Most of the fats in Sacred Foods Stone Ground Coconut Butter occur as healthy, saturated medium chain fatty acids - lauric, capric and caprylic acid - suggested to offer antibacterial and antiviral benefits. Coconut Butter is notably cholesterol-free, as well. It's delightful, delicately sweet taste is provided by less than 8% total naturally-occurring sugars.
Due to its low temperature processing, Sacred Foods Stone Ground Coconut Butter also supplies an array of MICRONUTRIENTS: primarily minerals such as calcium, potassium, iron and selenium, and also traces of vitamins C, E and B-complex, notably folate and pantothenic acid. And it tastes amazing!
Suggested uses include: added to smoothies for depth of texture and flavor, spread on warm toast or crackers, blended with cacao and natural sweetener to make raw icing, incorporated into dessert recipes and raw or cooked cereal recipes (for instance, use a fork to blend Coconut Butter with cinnamon and raw honey, then stir into a bowl of raw sprouted buckwheat groats or warm steamed millet or quinoa - yummy!).
